A delicate metal strand of flowers is wrapped around a light bulb to create an organic shade. You can link several Garlands together to create larger chandeliers.
The Garland comes as a flat sheet that you can cut to make a long stand to wrap around the light bulb.
I designed the Garland originally as the Wednesday Light in 2000. This light illustrates my thinking at the time, which was to create romantic and pretty objects that are completely contemporary at the same time.
Garland is included in the permanent collection of MoMA New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum London.
EU orders, please note:
As a result of the UK leaving the EU, all orders going to an EU country are now subject to additional VAT and import handling charges. The amount depends on which country you are in.
We do not charge VAT on EU orders, but you will need to pay the VAT to your country’s customs. This varies between 17% and 27% of the order value, depending on your country. In addition, there will be a handling charge from the courier company (Post, DHL or FedEx) which can be on average £10. The couriers handling charge remains the same if you order more Garlands.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a text or email from the courier about the VAT and charges, and how to pay.
Delivery time:
Deliveries to the EU normally take 3–5 days, depending on the customs clearance. As soon as we book the shipping of your order, we will send you the tracking number and you can follow the delivery.
Deliveries inside the UK normally arrive in 1–2 days from shipping.
